Owing to a rational policy in the area of the consolidation of production and distribution, they may boast of a better use of the means of transport. The aim of the article is to analyse the promoted behaviours of logistics operators in Poland and in Ukraine. The research methods used in the study include a literature analysis, a comparative analysis and a questionnaire survey of logistics operators’ clients in Poland and in Ukraine. Selected items have been evaluated\: eco\-friendly programs, action for the environment, exhaust emission reports, CSR activities carried out locally, nationally and globally, sustainable development of logistics operators, professional development of employees, innovative technologies implemented by logistics operators and transport safety. The analysis conducted in relation to logistics operators will show similarities and differences in the promoted environmental activities and to what extent this is noticed by customers.]
